Most AAA and indie gamedevs absolutely hate Jon, a white conservative man with strong opinions. C++ is still used everywhere in gaming (engines) and isn't going anywhere. Jai is dead on arrival and will never be adopted outside of a niche group of blowfans that are too perfectionist to finish anything of note.
