The Nazis and most fascist governments had way more of a unique and stylized look to them while having messages the average person could easily get behind.

>German guns: iconic, unique, and full of cool experimental shit
>Commie guns: boring, but charming in their brutal simplicity
>German planes: the most iconic aircraft of the war with literal fucking jets showing up
>Commie planes: kind of cool in how shit they look
>German tanks: THE iconic tank force of the war
>Soviet tanks: plenty of remembered tanks like t-34, IS2, and the KVs

Absolutely none of this actually has much to pertain to on field performance, but the commies lost on the “looks cool” part of the war. Just like how they won it during the Cold War
