There's been some organized efforts to shit on here in the past and we know due to someone leaking the messages from the discords that did it. Most of them were from the time AL was at its peak of popularity though, it was a spurned kancolle fag doing it.
I remember last year some discord DMs leaked too and they were from one fag terrorizing multiple generals (bag, gig, gfl, alg, etc) with cuckposting and dooming. Someone who has the screenshots can provide better context, I believe that set of DMs actually mentions paying people.

It's not outside the realm of possibility for people to do this here, but I think most of the organized efforts nowadays happen in the mihoyo and wuwa generals. I think the main thing is that /alg/s slow pace makes it incredibly easy for schizos to gain notoriety and some of them just stay here for the attention. If you're wondering about the trash fags, they frequent other generals too (they've been shitting up zzz a lot, for example) but they've said on record that they're particularly fond of Azur Lane because it happens in a semi realistic setting and all the ships have 'nationalities' that lend themselves to all their ethnicity and refugee scenarios.
