He writes decent people characters, like, they are physically appealing enough but the interactions and treatment of (you) make them come across as real people you'd want to meet and fuck or simply hang out with. He can't always land the plan plot wise with some of them, but when it comes to real people they're better than most contemporary media alternatives who are mostly sentient idealogues played by ugly actors or drawn to be ugly.
