i have a theory that you were supposed to find jevil as a normal, non-schizo, non-optional boss, but that's when OUT FUCKING HERO, SEAM (pronounced shawn, and whoever gave the shadow crystal to the schizos because it was NOT the knight) intervened and locked him in his cuck cage
don't you think it's suspicious that he's not only willing to help us out in freeing him but ALSO has so much knower knowledge (somehow seems to know exactly who you'll face next, is a mantle knower, etc.)
