I think they are mostly fine, the guy in the middle just looks a little goofy. The lady maybe needs more cheek and more volume on her cranium. The guy in the middle is charmingly stylized, kind of like a PS1 3D model or a character from Warcraft, but not conventionally appealing which is maybe why the person who asked for the drawing thinks it's off. The guy on the right is good, but I would maybe define the jawline a bit more and push his head forward a bit so the neck feels bigger. Here's my attempt
