that is true, and i'm not gonna say the gameplay has been ruined or anything (barring tetris 2 having lag online when it released, somehow), but sega's recent decisions have been making even people outside of the jaded autists here mad. nobody wants more tetris since tetris is now back to having releases that are arguably better than the crossovers, game key cards are apparently not selling well from what i've heard, and the only full on puyo game since chronicle back in 2016 is locked to apple devices that a good chunk of people don't even have.
it's profitable, for sure honestly i feel a decent chunk of it is carried by the mobile gacha game but if they keep doing stupid decisions like these, then it might become a bit rockier saleswise outside of normalfags picking it up or diehard fans who have probably dissected the lore front to fucking back.
