That would slap
I wish they took Legends in that direction. Easily the most SOVLful set of Megaman games with lovable characters and a story that lends itself to wide variety in setting, held back by stiff and janky tank controls. Even Legends 2 felt like a PS1 game with minor fidelity improvements.
They’re about 15 years late to catch the platformer gravy train though so I am not optimistic they will take that risk. Ratchet and Clank is only still relevant because Snoy pushes it so hard on their systems.
