The more I mature as a gamer the more I come to terms with the fact that the xbox was better than the ps2. It was the console for grown ups, it's games lack that spice the ps2 exclusives had but they more than make up for it in quality and gameplay

Cool, we have ninja gaiden, a less flamboyant game for sure but an overall better one. Every part of ryu's toolset is unique and serves a purpose, compared to dante's moveset bloat with a bunch of attacks that all do the same thing. Don't even let me get into enemy aggression

Great games, except you realize they're literally fucking pacman clones after playing splinter cell. Splinter cell is watching enemies through under a door, reacting to your surroundings, realistically sneaking around lights and using timing to outsmart cunning AI. mgs2 has... what? a fat guy on roller skates? It's most in depth stealth gameplay involves knocking on the wall and watching a guy's vision cone react on a tiny screen in a corner

Halo fucking clears, no explanation needed. In fact I don't even know if this is the name of the "ps2 halo alternative". Is it supposed to be killzone or resistance or something? NO ONE EVEN KNOWS! I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THESE ARE FROM THE PISS2 OR PISS3!

Not a real genre. The xbox doesn't waste your time with fake games and only offers you kino wrpgs that the ps2 can't even run

Done better. Pretty much every fucking game that runs on either console runs better on xbox. Tony Hawk? Need for Speed? Star Wars Battlefront? ON THE PS2? give me a freakin break and choose the xbox. choose better graphics, better design choices, straight up the unaltered version instead of the ps2 handicapped version

So what's left, Jak 1 and 2? They're good, but is that enough to carry an entire console? Hmmm...
