Whats up Nerissa, I didn't post in time but there two big holidays that just happened (Corpus Christi and Midsommar) I shouldve posted about them so you would have had a chance to celebrate.
>How to make a Swedish Midsummer Flower Crown
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoFiLdnY80Q
Theres not a woman on Earth that doesnt like to wear flower crowns. Show that video to your sister, its a good bonding time for the family. Its a Christian day too so she would like it more. Even guys wear the crowns for Midsommar so her husband and sons can do it as well. I'm sure you'll do it with your children one day too. You dont even have to wait for midsommar to wear a flower crown, unironically do it whenever you want.
>CORPUS CHRISTI Catholic Procession
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBeYnoUIl0E
This is a huge day, I shouldve posted about it. Everyone around the world has a procession. Its the feast day to celebrate the holy sacrament of the Eucharist. Pray for England. I hope you went to your local procession.
>traditions
Anyway those traditions and all of our traditions are as much a part of who we are as our blood and soil. We not only have to celebrate them but pass them on. Check this out
>Brigid of Kildare St Brigid cross making tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-vbKU_r5uQ
Nerissa, I want you to make one of these. It's in your blood. And show it to you sisters as well, they should make it too. It's a good family activity with children as well. They are made with rushes, you may have some growing near you in which case send your brother to go cut some for you. If not you'll have to order them. The cross eventually dries out and becomes yellow but it lasts a lifetime. You can hang it wherever you want. Make sure to pass this tradition to your children. Look up St Brigid, I like her a lot.
