Sup fellas. I got a new midi keyboard, and I have zero prior music education. I was thinking I would do the same thing I did when I got a rubiks cube as a kid, i.e. fuck around with it until I can solve it. But not gonna lie, this shit is difficult. Mostly because you have do everything in real time. Just knowing what buttons to press is not enough. So it's more like learning to speedcube IME. What do you think I should do? Should I continue trying to learn on my own or look up some resources? On both routes, how long will it take me until I can play something that doesn't make the audience want to jump off a bridge?
