2012 was a very silly time, we all thought the world was gonna end. They also thought David Petraeus would still be the Secretary of Defense, and that the US and China would come together to save the world. Game aged like milk in the sun but it was still a really fun campaign. MW2019 has aged similarly poorly in retrospect.

AM General, the company that makes Humvees, sued them for having Humvees in the games. It's funny because people still do it and no one gets sued. Tarkov is almost entirely real names and nearly 1:1 gun models, but they're also Russian devs so they don't give a fuck about copyright. Battlefield 6 is using fictional names, but the gun models themselves are actually pretty close to real life. And games like Ace Combat literally partnet with aircraft makers to have their jets in, but to be fair, I can't walk to my local gun store and buy a new in box F-22. I SHOULD be able to but that's another argument. There is also that dumb point about someine seeing a gun in game and buying it to do a Columbine.
