Frankly V&V is a lot of wasted potential. Sure, it clearly is trying to be CN's own Gravity Falls, with Victor like a shittier version of Mabel and Valentino a fat, less curious Dipper, but they had a solid foundation.

Central American folklore and myth has a lot of fresh material that's never been put into a cartoon! They just lacked the skill to make it interesting.
