my big issue with that person's AU is that their excuses as to WHY dess acts like that and only targets kris feel flimsy as hell ("oooh i'm bipolar and think i'm not responsible for kris despite our families practically being tied at the hip so i have no reason not to see him as disposable but i'll sacrifice him to satan anyway hahaha")
take out that shitty excuse and retrofit it to something as simple as "sees kris as MORE of a little brother so she drags him along on her little escapades until it fucks them both over" and it feels much better
mind you i just think abusive dess is boring as hell anyway, 'bad influence' dess is fine but it should be more about kris picking up the wrong parts of her attitude because he's a preteen tagging along with a punk idiot and thinks her acting out is 'cool', rather than her outright TRYING to make him worse for nebulous reasons
