it's not normal cockpit lighting since a lot more planes have it than just these 35
it's no laser designator since there's a fucking b-17 and ad-4 in there
I don't THINK it's purely legacy from before anton gave up on any sim stuff since newer stuff like tornado and su25 have it enabled
