I don't care if someone learns a language because he likes it - realistically barely anyone enjoys this process, only someone deeply autistic with a love for the language would and these people wouldn't be wasting time on a chinese basketweaving forums dedicated to poorly written powerpoint presentations.

I just think it's pointless and retarded to do it with the intent of reading VNs and some mistaken sense of superiority/need to cope and attempt to convince everyone it's a good thing as you realize you wasted your time on something that wasn't worth it - which is what happens itt 90% of the time mixed with denial and shitposting.

its fun to understand what the characters are saying and I get that but I - as most sane people - would not want to go through the effort of studying moonrunes since the hardship and issues with reading them even once you've learned them outweights the fun.
