It's within the realm of possibilities that ziggers will increase military presence there (which benefits Ukraine here) and of course increase troops
I don't think they'll start actual full-scale conflict, at most some minor "observation and security forces" like they did in Ukraine pre-2022
This is how the russian regime usually acts, it was observable in the middle east, especially in and around syria and of course with Georgia and then Ukraine wrt Europe and Europe itself.
