they probably wanted to do that but would have needed to recode the game to fit more human-sized characters on the battle screen field at one time, and they were like, nah fuck it we'll just be lazy and keep raking in cash *hand rubbing intensifies*. yet another reason to remind people to stop spending money on this game.
