I wouldn't even mind if Bobby was the main character now with Hank & Friends being his support network. The problem is that it needs smart scripts, good jokes, and likable characters. I doubt modern TV today can even provide one of those, let alone all three. Forget holding a candle to the original; I just want it to NOT SUCK.
