I mean, most mainstream stuff is available digitally these days. Only time I have to actually clean scans is when the author puts illustrations under the dustjacket.
Still, it's not like it's rocket science. I whipped this up as a test just now, I'd say it looks pretty acceptable aside from the blacks being a little grainy.
