I am reading God Emperor right now and it alternates between annoying and boring. Everything Leto says or writes feels like a nauseating nothingburger in a bun of god-level narcissism.
I just passed the middle of the book and it seems like the worst part from series so far (and I can't really say I'm a giant fan of previous ones). Does it get better?
