When Covid hit a lot of corporations adapted their infrastructure to allow remote work, then when Covid ended they realized they could use that same infrastructure to hire browns instead. Even government contractors are doing it, since Puerto Rico is technically a US territory so they doesn't violate foreign export regulations or something. Shit's fucked.
