N beating Alder doesn't invalidate the fact that Alder is still goated.
I see it more as a battle between hobos who are more in-tune with their Pokemon, and N won because a man who slept in trash cans can't beat a man who slept with animals.

What invalidates Alder's status is getting beaten by Iris.
