I only read this series up until the point of evil eye becoming a joke

From what I skimmed through, this series is just endless filler of fighting some fodder with animals.
No real antagonist.
No real story.
Just random events and fodder.
Not one memorable villain with real powers that doesn't turn into some animal or multiple animals.

How can you read this?
Even the shitty romance is dogshit. So obvious the 2 MCs are gonna end up together yet this author somehow wants you to believe that other 2 boys have a chance or something.
