It gives fucking BANE.

It literally makes any card on the field an absolute nuisance to get out of the board, you're going to be wasting your precious spells and removals to get rid of some shitty low cost bane card because you don't want to hit it, and if you do then good job you traded your card for some 0 cost 1/1 skelly
