Not these anons, but Discord was the whole reason why I got into the show in the first place. I was sort of interested when people talked about it before season 2, and everyone was speculating on what Discord would look like. Then we finally saw him and everyone got pissed at how goofy he looked, but I loved it (both the discourse and his design being so out of the norm for what we've seen before or since). Also the fact he's just Q from Star Trek in all but name and physical appearance double sold me. He felt to me like a symbol of contrarianism within the already contrarian nature /MLP/ started off as. I wouldn't say he's a WAIFU per se, but he definitely stayed in my head rent free for the last 12 years.

Absolutely love this art btw. I checked the archives to find more and it's so out there, definitely not stuff you see regularly. I got off the ride for a while before FiM ended, and completely missed out on all the /dad/ threads and I guess the shitstorm hosiltility toward Discord. Honestly I never understood the hate for him beyond Fluttershy fans getting mad he took their waifu I guess?
