That's my point. Why don't you use this same criticism in Part 1 basically nothing of "massive change" happens until the Gun arc?
You meet the group in the beginning, and "nothing happens" until Aki dies. They all end up back in Aki's apartment after every other arc.
In Part 2 things literally don't go back to the "status quo". Asa and Denji are literally homeless since the start. Asa has changed significantly in emotions and power. The world is massively more fucked. Etc etc.
If you're really gonna do this "nothing every changes" for Part 2 then surely you're even more diehard about that for Part 1 (and if you are then why're you even in this thread read Dandadan or something)
