It's a magnum of Saracosa Governo Rosso 2023 that came with my wine club shipment today. I drank a 750ml bottle of this vintage last year and it was fantastic. It's a jaunty little red with ripe red-fruit aromas, backed by hints of toasted oat, and hints of cardamom and ginger. It's rich and well rounded, with a palate that offers intense black cherry, chocolate raisin and vanilla oak flavors. The finish is long and velvety. Solid 8/10 wine.
