i have places like that too where i live. just a couple of days ago i was walking by a small square i've known for a long time since my bank is in that area. Seeing the playground, that vacant lot that's been covered by tall grass and some of the stores that still managed to stay there on such a sunny and clear day. It hit me how the place hardly changed and felt very melancholic.
