>5. 7s
>With two dora we really want to win the hand, but no yaku kanchan is rough. I'm not completely against instant riichi here, but leaving it up to the wall is just sad. With a 7s cut we put ourselves in sanmenchan sanmenchan iishanten, which should be the shortest path to victory. Even if we draw the 6s backfire we can still sanmenchan riichi from there.

>6. 1p
>No yaku tenpai with a double Ton pair, and the wait is on the dora indicator. We want to aim for double Ton or ittsuu improvements here. Cut 1p first so that if we draw 3p, we can sanmenchan riichi. The basic approach for penchan dropping should be that if a backfire can give you a ryanmen shape, cut from the outside.

>7. 5s dama
>7s riichi isn't that bad, but we'd only be waiting on four tiles. If someone catches up to us it'd be risky, and at only 2600 points it's a bit cheap. Dama on the 6s kanchan for now, and hope to draw into iipeikou or another dora for shanpon riichi. 4s or 8s give us pinfu, and on a 9s draw we can riichi discarding the second 5s.

>8. 8s riichi
>Chiitoi with two or more dora should focus on win rate rather than more value. Aim for the 9m.

>9. 8p riichi
>It's also possible to dama, but we don't want to let our opponents play freely. A fast kanchan tenpai with one or more dora is usually riichi.
TN: This looks like it conflicts with the answer to problem 7 a bit, but here we're two turns faster and we're not waiting on the dora indicator.

>10. 4p
>It's best to go back to iishanten here. From there, 2p or 5p allows us a sanmenchan riichi on 369s. Drawing a souzu that doesn't give tenpai lets us aim for closed chinitsu. On a 2s backfire draw we can drop another pinzu tile for a dama tanki and also aim for closed chinitsu from there.

That's it for the simple problems, next up is the stuff for bakyou enjoyers.
