I did all routes of aloalo just for the mount (looked up a walkthrough on the ritual thing because I kept fucking it up like a noob)
my issue is that it felt way too grindy, I guess they expect you to do like one of the 12 routes every so often when you get bored
there's basically only 3 routes and then the true ending (which I did like a lot since it had its own boss and the ending felt like a very soulful payoff), you pick one of three route bosses and it's basically just a dungeon
I do like that you can solo them though, I just chilled out and took my time exploring and it was chill
