Something I read a while back talked about how theres been a huge problem in how blacks and whites have been trained for sprinting historically in a way that just doesnt work for white people. IIRC it had something to do with genetic physiological differences and how whites should favor a sprint style thats more about "pulling" oneself forward focusing on hamstrings, instead of whats been the norm for everyone in recent decades which is all about utilizing quad muscles to "push" oneself forward.
Couldve been a bunch of total bullshit, but if it were true it would make sense why all of a sudden there's now scandanavian dudes winning sprint competitions.
