A lot of the anglo self image is built on their superiority complex. Cultural, political, technological, scientific, military superiority. The accidents of history that lead to european dominance over the last 300 years are taken to come from inherent racial traits.

That world view has taken quite a beating over the last 20 years. The last 5 in particular. You not only have the now impossible to ignore economic, and scientific rise of China, and the military dominance of the Russians. Now you even have the political and increasingly cultural dominance of the Israelis. As well as the now obvious transfers of privileges to the exclusive jewish sect from the old quasi-exclusive protestant sects. This is before we even get into the culture crackdown on white-boys generally, I'm just talking the tangible outcomes.

Frankly this shit scares scares me because I have no idea how the old WASP culture is going to react to the broad spectrum loss of its status, wealth, and power. In absolute terms becoming a secondary class or living in second tier countries, like poorer catholic nations. There's still a shit ton of these guys around. What happens if they suddenly want all their stuff back?
