What you faggots fail to understand is that everyone has different needs and priorities, so constantly shilling for a particular brand and none other is a complete waste of time. Consider the following hypothetical scenarios:
>I want a solid, classic setup to learn on. I prioritize build quality and performance at the lowest price possible. I want more creative control than a compact would offer.
Used 5DmkII or III with 50/1.8, later upgrades e.g Zeiss EF lenses possible and viable with a quick focusing screen swap. Teaches you to shoot the same way people back in the 2010s used to learn on cheap film SLRs, with QoL improvements
>I am new and want something with fast AF and burst for wildlife/sports, price may or may not be an object.
Any later A7 starting with something like a 70-200. If it's a high-res model you can just crop if you need >200mm, and is a decent enough foundation for other types of photography if you decide to branch out with more native glass.
>I need a solid general-purpose camera. I like to use adapted lenses; I enjoy manual focus but also might want a good kit zoom or some AF primes. My budget is average, so I don't need to limit myself to a used 5D.
Nikon Z5ii/Z6iii + your choice of lenses. The experience will ultimately be better than a DSLR due to lack of mirror-related focus shifts and the WYSIWYG nature of an EVF + manual focus aids. Very versatile due to sensor glass design causing fewer issues with adapted lenses than other brands (not just wide angle: telephoto lenses also display problems, e.g. Leica 90/2)
>X-T4 is too big for me
Get a GR and stop embarrassing yourself.
