Where's the money coming from to make that? Death Shitting is a niche, every sequel does substantially worse than the last. Sony probably only agreed to fund it after Hideo agreed to make another tactical slopionage game. Also, Hideo has never let anyone make sequels to his games, there have only ever been low budget spin-offs/non-canon trash that he later shits on and denounces. Death Shitting is too boring and drab of a world to even do anything with, the whole lore and mechanics are wrapped around one concept, a spin off would not even be possible without butchering it. Whatever they try to make with it would still need a lot of money poured in because Kojima stupidly decided to divert the entire budget on celebrities as main characters and side characters.
