They're actually MAGES's most profitable games from what I recall, so Nintendo has a studio that's eager to develop them. The question isn't about Nintendo so much as it is if Sakamoto can sit down a write a new story. Nintendo actually asked him to make a new entry back in 1990 or so, but he turned it down because he couldn't think of a good story to write. Hopefully he has some more in him now. Sakamoto may be training the assistant producer Kaori Miyachi into taking over the series, but I'm worried she'll put more fujobait in the games.
