Yes that's right. But there was just need for producing many programs especially in 90s and 2000s. For this purposes were developed exta high level instruments to ease programming for many people

Now programming extra high demand is declining. All OSes, games, sites, desktop programs was developed there is no such need in programmers like in 90s and 2000s anymore
