I'd rather be ashes than dust, otherwise we're going to be the shitty country we are. I'm not saying that we should enter a war just because we wanna suck off either the US or China, but we should make ourselves relevant enough that our opinion would matter in this type of situation.
We are amongst the biggest countries, biggest economies, and yet all we care about is soccer and to trying to pass an exam to work for the state.
