From what was publicly stated by him and former Lab Zero employees, he was let go during Indivisible’s development because he was “hard to work with” and had a tendency to not get work done in time. The former was likely due to clashing between him and the staff over Indivisible’s story and the latter might be because he chose to attend cons over his work (don’t quote me on that it’s just a rumor I heard but it does kind of line up with his current career).

Everything else you hear is either mobiletards/culture war grifters pulling shit out of their ass, people confusing him with Mike Z or simply people who really don’t like Alex as an artist
