By truly successful I mean wealthy and powerful as fuck
I want millionaires, not the usual youtuber trash that you guys constantly spam threads about, mediocre scum that beg for Patreon subs and donations
And by powerful I mean truly powerful, being presidents of countries or corporations, or having worked with governments
I don't mean the usual clowns who might become famous for some time and take selfies with some retarded celebrities

You know what fucks with me? The biggest costs in life are opportunity costs. Try to imagine your future stretched out before you like the branches of tree. Millions of little branches and twigs of all the possible futures you could have. You make one decision and a million twigs vanish. Make a big decision, like getting married, and half the tree disappears.
Every time you make a choice, the number of paths you could take dwindles. Your world is always shrinking. All the paths eventually burn away, and finally you have only one road left: death.
It's unsettling to think about. There was probably some path where I could've become a world famous rock star, but those branches burned a long time ago. There's likely a dozen different women I could have married, a thousand different children I could have had. I feel sad, thinking no matter how many children I father, there's thousands of sons and daughters I will never know and never feel their love because I didn't get to make them.
Time is fucked.
