Dont worship creation, worship the Father whos kingdom is within you. The sun is a source of vril, but it isn't God. It has the Ankh hanging from it because it's cycle is a macrocosmic reflection of the microcosmic Magnum Opus, through its daily and yearly cycle. That's why the symbol used for the sun in alchemy is also symbol used for gold.
The true Son of the Trinity isn't the sun, however, it's Kether. They are the Trinity, one, in that Chochmah and Binah eminate from Kether but are one within Kether. Kether is where non-duality is achieved and where the original sin is mended. This is where you enter the Kingdom of God and gain eternal life by getting out of Samsara.
