Well in gunpla circle, Western and Japanese are like on equal ground, sometimes Japanese is kinda worse. But outside of Gunpla, alot of Jap modelers are pretty legit. Like their style or not, you have to admit that their modeling works look alot more respectable compares to those glossy recolor paintjobs.
