People intermix, this isn't rocket science. There is no magic barrier between German and British descendants, we have intermarried and mixed for centuries, and that includes within old Europe itself.
Every fucking time this "American mutts" stuff comes up, people here forget that Europeans also immigrated within Europe and mixed together. French Hugenots moving to Germany, Irish moving to England, Czechs and Slovenes moving into Austria, Poles in the Rheinland, etc...
