The planet might be okay, if it survives China fucking everything up, but our political systems and economies need a complete overhaul.

Humans have gone too soft on problem-causing humans and too hard on innocent humans that don't cause problems. The cowardice of a species too scared to punish bad behavior and too cheap to reward good behavior.

The political failures lead to economic failures which lead to ecological failures and the complete waste of the scarce resources of the only place in the Known Universe that can even support Life.

The thing our "leaders" are afraid of the most is the thing we need the most to save us from them.
