Trump is "closing" the investigation into Epstein because if it's "closed" then public access laws/FOIA all applies. The DOJ can no longer hide behind "ongoing investigation" or "national security" excuses because the investigation was closed and it's got no national security or ongoing investigation implications, just two perverts exploiting girls for personal entertainment. So everything starts to become public now, through FOIA and the courts. Hope this helps.
