>Journey Zero (18-28-38-48)
boooooooo weeb otaku
the name of the novel is in japanese why? (just kidding, but the mix of cultures is a bit weird)
Btw I dont know what the 18-28-38-48 is in the title for, but get rid of it because it doesn't look nice. It's your choice though.
the character options are full of nobodies. where's masahiro sakurai I wanted to play as him. I settled for Carl jung in the end, good enough
So yeah I'm not familliar with TTRPGs at all, never played one so I have no idea why the game behaves the way it does. The stats menu does look intimating by the way.
That said, I find it weird how there's a limit on how many turns (or rounds or whatever, feels like it's misnamed) when it will just take you back into battle anyway.
I mostly feel like I'm using a GUI program instead of playing a game desu.
The icons that pop up when you stop to show what you have encountered... they could be clearer. I have no idea what they are supposed to look like
The way the game is so fast and I barely feel the impact of consequences, makes me rush more which I don't like doing.
Dying feels like an easier way to recover and refresh my party entirely than a dedicated healer or some such thing... this is a problem maybe
I don't feel the theme of the world or lore represented in the game. Just feels like a regular RPG to me. I literally spawned on an island resembling australia, man.
THE WEST HAS FALLEN... but The West has risen after a wake? This game held the solution to saving the west this entire time.
I played alone of course ;-;
This is probably the last demo day game I review.
