After replaying the game on and off for years since I was a kid, I still think the beginning until leaving Midgar is the strongest part of the game, I replayed it again a few years ago but I go bored once I got out of Midgar.
Granted the game is a true Masterpiece but I guess I eventually got tired or grew out of it.
