This webm makes me feel genuinely depressed. I used to play fighting games for that shit right there, for the feeling when you break down a dumb motherfucker's retarded ass playstyle so thoroughly that you can feel the fight leaving their body as the 4th jump gets anti-aired and their 3rd dash gets stuffed, making them realize that A: they're being forced to play the ground game like a human and B: they're totally outclassed at that, too.
2 years and counting on this dogshit new game and I've NEVER got that feeling on any of the 5 characters I've got between 1700-1900 MR. SF6 emboldens and rewards the worst fucking players I've ever seen in a way I didn't think possible. Enormous skill gaps don't even look impressive anymore, you just don't beat down worse players by playing clean and calculated like you used to. You always just brute force your way into one-sided offense that lasts until the end of the round like you're playing Tekken or Blazblue or some other unsophisticated monkey game like that. Street Fighter used to be legitimately better than the rest, man.
