TB does not get treated like an MC, since the writers are just mixing companion quests with the main story. That has completely ruined the main story since the main story now focuses on selling the other characters, rather than TB. Being treated like an MC does not mean giving TB artificial importance out of nowhere. Develop the story from his perspective, making me care for the characters on screen and want to assist them. It's not there. TB does not have any agency; he just goes along with everything that happens around him. And suddenly, "you are the most important piece to save them". Oh, I guess I am now. When did that happen?
And at the end of this quest, and spending a good amount of time with Carty, I really wanted to save her. The story made me CARE.
