This one year, 2015, at the time of Kurban Bayram (eid al adha in arabic), the new cathedral mosque seen in the picture was finished, but not approved for public use by safety inspectors, so all the muslims of Moscow decided to do the prayer associated with that celebration in the streets surrounding the closed mosque.
Ever since then, every year (when the celebration is orderly taking place in the mosque itself) the lying jewish media post pictures from 2015, implying the streets around look like that every year or all the time or something.
Hint: the circular arena from 1980 summer Olympics wasn't even there anymore in 2022, there was a construction site for a new now finished arena (pic related, will be finished next year)
